The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) partners with state-level agencies in all 50 States, the District of Columbia, and among Native American Tribes to implement the Weatherization Assistance Program.
DOE’s Project Management Center awards grants to state-level agencies, which then contract with local agencies to deliver weatherization services to eligible residents in every county in the nation.
State and local agencies leverage DOE funding with state, utility, and other resources to weatherize more homes.
