Warren County Civil Service administers Civil Service Law and Rules for classified employees in the county, towns, city, village, school districts, college, libraries and other special districts within the County. We classify positions, recruit candidates, manage and undertake all exam/list administration processes, review and approve personnel and appointment transactions, maintain employee roster records, adopt/amend local civil service rules and certify payrolls for all of our agencies. Additionally, we serve as a resource to provide guidance on all Civil Service matters for our appointing authorities, officials, employees, candidates and members of the public.

Exam Cancellations
Unless the county or city where the exam is to be held has declared a snow or weather-related emergency and the public has been advised to stay off the roads, all exams will be conducted as scheduled, if at all practicable to do so.
