The WIC Program has a strong commitment to the women, infants, and children who need nutrition education and referrals to other health care and community services. This program provides nutrition assessments, nutrition education and counseling, as well as referrals and eWIC benefit card for healthy foods to pregnant, breastfeeding and postpartum women, infants and children up to age five. Families must have specific financial and nutritional needs to be eligible. WIC Clinic sites are located throughout Warren County. Call to find out if your family can take part in this program.

WIC provides Federal grants to States for supplemental foods, health care referrals, and nutrition education for low-income pregnant, breastfeeding, and non-breastfeeding postpartum women, and to infants and children up to age five who are found to be at nutritional risk.
