Warren County DPW to hold meeting for public input on bridge replacement projects
HORICON, NY – The Warren County Department of Public Works will hold a public meeting Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at Horicon Town Hall, 6604 Route 8 in Horicon, to outline plans to replace two bridges over Mill Brook in the Town of Horicon.
The meeting will detail projects to replace the bridge on East Shore Drive, also known as Warren County Route 15, over Mill Brook, and the nearby Johnson Road bridge over Mill Brook. Both are located near the hamlet of Adirondack. The East Shore Drive bridge is commonly known as the Adirondack Bridge, the Johnson Road bridge as the Beaver Pond Bridge.
The projects are in design phases, and there is no timetable for the beginning of construction.
The September 27 meeting will provide an opportunity for interested parties to review and discuss options for the replacement of each bridge. There will be a short presentation followed by an opportunity for comment and questions from the public. A recording of the meeting will be made available on the Warren County YouTube channel for those who are unable to attend in person.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.
