Voter registration deadline Friday
Do you want to vote on Nov. 3? If you haven’t registered to vote yet, you are running out of time.
Friday, Oct. 9 is the deadline to register for this year’s General Election, and Warren County
Board of Elections has made it easy for those who want to pick up the voter registration form to
get your name on the rolls.
Voter registration forms are available in the lobby of the Warren County Human Services Building,
which is open to the public Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Human Services Building is located on the Warren County Municipal Center Campus at 1340 Route
9 in Queensbury. From the Route 9 entrance, turn right, and then turn right again in front of the
first building on your right. If you are entering from the Glen Lake Road entrance, make a left
and then another left at the Human Services Building.
Parking is available in front of the building. Please wear a face mask when you enter the lobby.
Fill out the form in your car, deposit in the locked drop box in the lobby, and you will be ready
to vote on Nov. 3! (For the record, the drop box is emptied 4 to 5 times daily by Board of
Elections staff, and is in a locked, secure lobby that is monitored by Warren County security
staff.)
If you choose to mail the registration form, it must be postmarked by Oct. 9.
New York State also offers online opportunities to vote, and doing so online takes about 5 minutes.
