Warren County senior meal sites reopen
More workers needed for some sites
Warren Hamilton Counties Office for the Aging is happy to announce that in-person senior meals are resuming at several meal sites in the two counties the agency serves.
Senior meals have been delivered to homes since meal sites closed when the COVID-19 pandemic’s business limitations began in March 2020. As vaccination rates increased, OFA staff formulated plans in recent weeks to safely reopen some sites starting this week.
Unfortunately, in-person meals at several meal sites will not be served until further notice because of a lack of staff for the sites.

“We will continue to work on opening the other sites as we can,” explained Dee Park, OFA Director. “While this has taken some time, our biggest concern has been the safety of our residents. Please be patient and understanding with meal site staff while we continue to work to keep you safe.”
OFA staff have worked with Warren County Public Health, Hamilton County Public Health, and officials from both counties to come up with the following meal site guidelines to keep residents protected:
- We encourage everyone to wear a mask, but require those who have NOT been vaccinated to wear a mask until seated, and anytime you are leaving your seat
- Seating will be 6 feet apart for all individuals, unless you live in the same household
- Seating may be limited, so please call ahead to reserve your spot
- If you are not feeling well, please stay home until you are feeling better or until you have consulted your physician;
Warren County Public Health and Hamilton County Public Health are working to offer vaccination clinics at some meal sites on select dates, with details to be announced as finalized.
The following meal sites will be open to in-person meals on the following days. Sites that are not listed will not open for in-person meals at this time.
