PUBLIC INFORMATION MEETING
BAY ROAD OVER HALFWAY BROOK
BRIDGE REPLACEMENT TOWN OF QUEENSBURY
The Warren County Department of Public Works Superintendent, Kevin Hajos, PE, has announced that a Public Informational Meeting will be held to discuss the proposed Replacement of Bay Rd (CR 7) Bridge over the Halfway Brook in the Town of Queensbury. The meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 from 6:00 – 7:00 pm, with a presentation beginning at 6:00 pm. The bridge is located 150 ft north of the intersection with Quaker Road. The purpose of the meeting is to present the proposed design for bridge replacement and to receive comments on the proposed project from individuals, groups, officials, and local agencies. This Public Information Meeting is part of the continuing efforts by the involved local, state, and federal agencies to encourage public input into the development of transportation projects.
As authorized under Governor Cuomo’s Executive Orders, the public will not be permitted to attend the public meeting in person. Instead, the public will have the ability to see and participate in the meeting live via the Warren County meetings on the Warren County YouTube page, as described below, as permitted by the New York State Open Meetings Law, as modified by the Executive Orders.
Due to public health and safety concerns, the public will not be permitted to attend at the remote locations where the Warren County Department of Public Works members will be situated.

Those unable to watch during the live meeting may watch the Public Information Meetings on the Warren County website at WarrenCountyNY.gov on the Monday following the meeting. Any person who wishes to provide comments on the proposed project can send comments via e-mail to PublicInfo@WarrenCountyDPW.com by Wednesday, September 23, 2020. Please include Bay Road in the subject of the email.
