Going green to support veterans

The lights outside Warren County Municipal Center are green in November for a good reason -- it's a part of New York State Association of Counties (NYSAC) Operation Greenlight, an initiative to show support and gratitude for men and women in uniform. On this Veterans Day, display a green light to show your support as well.
Warren County is proud to be participating in Operation Greenlight. It is our simple way of showing appreciation, saying thank you, your service mattered, and we are grateful.
It’s also an opportunity to say that if you’re a vet and your struggling, there’s no shame in reaching out for help.
There are resources available or on Operation Greenlight’s website at, including information about peer-to-peer services that connect vets to other vets who know and understand the challenges that come with returning home and re-entering civilian life.
