Did you know that 9,500 New York residents are awaiting an organ transplant that could save their life?
The Department of Motor Vehicles staff at Warren County Municipal Center is doing their part to help those who are in need through the annual "Donate Life" campaign! The DMV staff is working to sign up new organ donors during their DMV transactions through the New York State Donate Life Registry. They are also hoping to raise public awareness of the critical need for organ, eye, and tissue donation.
The Warren County DMV promotion is now underway and will conclude April 28. Donate Life information, promotional items and Lifesavers candy will be featured at the DMV office.
New organ donors registering when they process a DMV transaction will be entered into a drawing for summer fun gift bags! The drawing will be held on May 1, 2023!
The first week of the campaign resulted in 29 new organ donors signing up!
