Warren County Department of Planning and Community Development has worked with Cliff & Redfield Interactive to produce a new audio walking tour of historic sites around North Creek!
The tour plays through your cellphone, using GPS technology as you pass the many historic spots around the hamlet.
There are 26 sites in all, along a 1-1/2 mile walking route along the Riverwalk trail and Main Street in North Creek. It is live now, and you can download the Explore Warren County application in the Apple and Google Play app stores, then click on tours to find the North Creek tour. This tour is part of Cliff & Redfield's efforts to promote the First Wilderness Heritage Corridor communities of western and northern Warren County -- Lake Luzerne, Stony Creek, Thurman, Johnsburg, Warrensburg, Chester and Horicon.
An audio driving tour of historic sites around Warren County, from Queensbury to Johnsburg, is under development as well, which should be finalized sometime this spring in time for the warmer months.
