Congratulations are in order for Manon Affinito, Warren County's employee of the month for May! Manon has worked for the Warren County District Attorney's Victim Assistance Program for more than 16 years, and currently serves as the program's director.
Warren County District Attorney Jason Carusone praised Manon for he dedication to a very difficult job working with victims of horrific tragedies and their loved ones. He also recounted numerous cases where Manon provided integral assistance with witnesses and victims during prosecutions.
Warren County has experienced 11 homicides since 2017, and Manon has worked with the survivors in all of them to make sure they get the assistance the need.
"Manon could be nominated (as employee of the month) every month she has worked for the county," Carusone said.
Manon was honored at the Board of Supervisors meeting on May 19. She is pictured with DA Jason Carusone, left, and Kevin Geraghty, Chairman of the Warren County Board of Supervisors.
