Leisa Grant, Principal Account Clerk for Warren County Tourism Department, was honored Wednesday as Warren County's Employee of the Quarter for the third quarter of 2024!
Leisa has been bookkeeper extraordinaire for the Tourism Department for more than 18 years, keeping track of Occupancy Tax spending along with other fiduciary duties. Tourism Director Heather Bagshaw called her an "unsung hero" of the workforce.
"With her accumulated vast institutional knowledge of very complex programs, Leisa became an invaluable asset to county leadership for her expertise, integrity and professionalism, in helping counsel supervisors in making informed decisions on budgeting for the department and the responsible use of Occupancy Tax resources," Bagshaw told county supervisors.
She added "Leisa’s professional demeanor is only exceeded by her delightfully pleasant personality, her kindness, and her calm, measured manner of engaging with anybody she comes into contact with."
Congratulations to Leisa for years of a job well done! (She is pictured, from left, with Tourism Coordinator Paul Tackett, Board of Supervisors Chairman Kevin Geraghty, and Tourism Director Heather Bagshaw.)
