Boards of Elections in Warren and Washington counties will open their doors for special night and weekend hours in the coming weeks to make it easier for local residents to register to vote this November.
Elections officials in both counties will open their offices on Saturday, September 28, from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m., and Thursday, October 10, from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Residents will be able to register to vote or update their registration information if necessary.
The initiative is part of a statewide program that allows extended hours for elections offices to help ensure that residents have an opportunity to register.
Warren County Board of Elections is located at Warren County Municipal Center, 1340 Route 9, Queensbury, in the Human Services Building. Washington County Board of Elections is located at 1153 Burgoyne Avenue, Fort Edward.
Warren County residents with election-related questions about can call their Board of Elections at 518-761-6456 while Washington County residents can call 518-746-2180.
The 2024 general election will be held on November 5. Early voting will begin on Saturday, October 26, 2024 and run for nine days.
The deadline to register to vote in the November general election is October 26, 2024. Those who can not visit their local Board of Elections to register in person can do so online here.
