CONGRATULATIONS GAYLE MENDER, WARREN COUNTY EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH!
The Warren County Board of Supervisors honored Gayle Mender from Warren County Employment & Training on Friday as Warren County's employee of the month! Gayle's supervisor, Employment & Training Director Liza Ochsendorf, nominated her.
Gayle's role has been to teach job readiness skills to a variety of populations, but during the pandemic she also took on additional duties to teach online job skills courses that have helped hundreds of local residents learn new skills such as how to prepare a resume, how to prepare for a job interview, how to use social media for employment and other topics.
"Whether in a classroom or through a computer camera, Gayle connects with her audience in a way that is engaging, empowering, and enlightening," Liza explained. "She is someone who is dependable, adaptable, and passionate about providing excellent customer service and we can be proud that she’s representing Warren County as she helps people near and far in our great state of New York."
