SURVEY AVAILABLE FOR RESIDENT, BUSINESS INPUT ON FOOD AND YARD WASTE DISPOSAL

Warren County wants to hear your thoughts on the future of disposal of food scraps and yard waste in Warren County.

There are a variety of options for residents and businesses, which could include a county-run composting facility that could save money and better serve the environment by removing an estimated 30% of the waste stream through composting.

A public meeting that included a presentation on a variety of options was held on the issue last week, which can be viewed here for those who would like to learn more about the issue

We ask that you log on to here take the online survey, noting that the deadline is March 31. Print copies of the survey can be picked up at the Warren County Municipal Center's Department of Motor Vehicles entrance and Warren County Human Services Building entrance.
