Winter is the best time of year to curl up and ride out the weather with a good book. A new website developed by Warren County Planning & Community Development will make it easier to find a good read in your neighborhood!
The Planning Department has created a website to crowdsource free “book sharing box” locations in Warren County.
These boxes, some of the formally known as Little Libraries, can be found across our region and the nation. While Little Libraries locations can be found on their own website, not all of our local "book sharing boxes” are on that site.
This new website, created based on feedback from a Warren County resident who was looking for book sharing locations, uses Geographic Information Systems (GIS) data to plot boxes on an interactive map of Warren County.
Folks who oversee book sharing boxes are encouraged to add their location onto the map so local readers can share tomes as the coldest days of winter set in! Take a look today.
