Warren County DMV Staff Teams Up for “Donate Life”
WARREN COUNTY, NY -- The staff at the Warren County office of the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles, along with DMV offices in counties across New York State, are teaming up with the New York Alliance for Donation during the month of April to sign up more organ donors.
The program seeks to increase enrollment in the New York State Donate Life Registry during transactions at DMV offices. These events are also aimed at raising public awareness of the critical need for organ, eye, and tissue donation.
Warren County DMV has begun a promotion that runs from April 14 through April 29, when those who register to donate organs at the Warren County DMV office will have a shot at some cool prizes!
Donate Life information, promotional items and Lifesavers candy will be featured at the Warren County DMV office, and new organ donors who register when they process a DMV transaction will be entered into a drawing for gift bags full of items for summer fun!
As of this week, 31 people had newly registered during the Warren County DMV April Donate Life promotion!
The prize drawing will be held on April 29.
