August 3 deadline for stimulus funding applications

August 3 deadline approaching for Warren County stimulus funding applications

 

WARREN COUNTY, NY – Organizations and businesses that plan to apply for a portion of Warren County’s American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding are reminded that the deadline to submit an application is Wednesday, August 3, 2022.

Applications can be made online at warrencountyny.gov/arpa. Applications will be reviewed by the Warren County Board of Supervisors American Rescue Plan Act Advisory Committee for potential consideration by the Board of Supervisors.

Submission of an application does not guarantee funding. ARPA Advisory Committee members may reach out to those making submissions for additional information about their applications. Those with questions can email arpa@warrencountyny.gov or call 518-761-6410.

To date, Warren County has allocated $3.4 million of its $12.4 million share of ARPA funding for COVID response for:

  • Mental health treatment
  • Workforce development
  • Child care improvements
  • Business aid
  • Technology upgrades for Warren County agencies
  • Air filtration improvements at Warren County-owned Countryside Adult Home.

The Warren County Board of Supervisors ARPA Advisory Committee is scheduled to meet again at Warren County Municipal Center on Tuesday, August 9th at 3 p.m. This meeting is open to the public, and will be livestreamed and archived at www.youtube.com/c/WarrenCountyNewYork.
