Town Approved Site Plans
If there is no driveway or structure present on your property, you will need to submit a town approved site plan before you can be assigned a E-911 address.
For information on how to get a site plan approved, please contact the town clerk of the municipality your property is located in. You can find the phone number for your town clerk in the phone directory.

Submitting Maps
Submitting a map of your property aids the GIS department in locating your property and assigning an E-911 address, and is greatly appreciated. Even a rough sketch of the layout of the property can help.
There are two basic ways to submit a map.
Send a Link
If you would like to use MapQuest, Google Maps, or Yahoo! Maps, you can send us a link to your map. After locating your property on a map, you can use MapQuest or Yahoo's "Link to this map" or Google Maps' "Link to this Page" feature to send us a link. To send a link, you can do the following:
Using MapQuest, after you have found your location, click on "Link to this map" and copy the information in the text box marked "Link in an E-Mail". Paste this into the map field on the E-911 Application by right-clicking on the field and selecting "Paste".
Using Google Maps, after you have found your location, right-click on "Link to this page" and select "Copy Shortcut" or "Copy Link Location". Paste this into the map field on the E-911 Application by right-clicking on the field and selecting "Paste".
Using Yahoo! Maps, after you have found your location, click on "Link to this map". Underneath the "Map" box, you should see a link that says "Example: Yahoo! Maps map of" followed by the address you typed in to find your map. Right-click it and select "Copy Shortcut" or "Copy Link Location". Paste this into the map field on the E-911 Application by right-clicking on the field and selecting "Paste".
Upload a File
If you would like to use The Warren County Spatial Data Viewer or MS Paint, you can upload your map from your computer using the following instructions.
Using The Warren County Spatial Data Viewer, after you have found your location, select the "Select a Parcel" option under the "Click on map to:" drop-down menu. After you have that tool selected, click on your parcel until it has been highlighted. Your parcel number should be showing, and your information should be showing at the bottom of the screen.
In the upper-lefthand corner of the screen, click the "Print Map - PDF" link. In the new window that opens, click the "Generate PDF" button. After your map is finished being generated, right-click on the "Click here to download your..." link and select "Save Target As...". Save the file to a location on your computer.
Back at the E-911 Application, click the "Browse" button, and locate the file you saved.
Using MS Paint (usually in the Accessories folder of your start menu), sketch out a rough overhead map of your property and it's surroundings. Go to the file menu, select "Save As...", and select JPEG under the "Save As Type" drop-down menu. Save this file to a location on your computer.
Back at the E-911 Application, click the "Browse" button, and locate the file you saved.

Tax Map Numbers
Every property has a unique Tax Map Number (e.g., 305.20-1-14). This number indicates the Section, Block, and Lot location of your property. The number appears on your tax bill. If you do not know your Tax Map Number, you can search the internet-based Spatial Data Viewer by owner name or contact your town assessor. You can find the phone number for your town assessor in the phone directory.
