General Election Recanvass Schedule 2010

To: All Candidates of the General Election & Committee Chairpersons,
You are hereby notified, Pursuant to Article 9-208.1 & 9-209.1b of the New York State Election Law, that the following schedule has been determined for the Re-Canvass of the Voting System Scanners in Warren County for the November 2,, 2010 General Election at the Warren County Board of Elections 1340 State Rt. 9 Lake George, NY 12845 (Town of Queensbury).
Wednesday November 3, 2010 9:15am
Draw of 3% of all scanners for mandatory audit.
Wednesday November 3, 2010 10:00am
We will begin to re-canvass all General Election tabulator tapes, unscanned ballots and write in ballots.
Tuesday November 9, 2010 9:30am
Absentee and Affidavit Ballot counting will begin at 9:30am beginning with the Town of Queensbury, followed by the City of Glens Falls and the Towns in alphabetical order. The counting will continue each day until completed through 4:45Ppm. Lunch break will be from 12:00-1:00PM. We will count all ballots received by Tuesday November 2, 2010. All other ballots received from Nov. 9-24 will be counted once the mail is received on the 24th.
