Recanvass Schedule
October 5, 2009
To: All Candidates/ Party Chairs of the General Election,
You are hereby notified, Pursuant to Article 9-208 of the New York State Election Law, that the
following schedule has been determined for the Re-Canvass of the Voting Machine Paper in Warren
County for the November 3, 2009 General Election at:
Warren County Board of Elections 1340 State
Rt. 9 Lake George, NY 12845 Town of Queenbury.
We shall begin to re-canvass the paper from all county voting machines Wednesday November 4, 2009 at 11:00am. We shall begin with the Town of Queensbury, the City of Glens Falls then the Towns in alphabetical order. We shall begin each subsequent day at 9:30am and continue until approximately 4:45PM. Lunch break will be from approximately 12:00-1:00PM.
Once the re canvass of machine paper and other paperwork is complete we shall then follow this schedule for Absentee and Affidavit Ballots.
Tuesday November 10, 2009 at 10:00 am. In the event of a court order we will begin as soon as allowed. Absentee and Affidavit Ballot counting will begin again daily beginning Thursday November 12, 2009 at 9:30AM with the Town of Queensbury, the City of Glens Falls and the Towns in alphabetical order. This will continue each day, except for November 11, 2009 when we will close for the Veterans Day holiday, until completed through 4:45PM lunch break will be from approximately 12:00-1:00PM.
* Call the Board of Elections on Thursday November 8, 2007 for a more precise time and day for the counting of Absentee & Affidavit Ballots for the City/Town you are interested in.
